FrankKeller > Fall comes early in especially the further north you go. The colors are just starting to change in this shot just south of Hurricane. AK
FrankKeller > While the weather wasn't great I spent the morning hiking the Glen Eyrie property. This is the castle the founder of Colorado Springs built for his sick wife. It is in a very secluded area near Garden of the Gods and has some spectacular views of the Front Range.
FrankKeller > The small town of Chama, NM is like stepping back in time. The conductor of steam engine 487 has just finished taking on water and is ready to start the days trips. This operation is truly a fascinating look back at days of old.
FrankKeller > The Eagle River rushes by the barn and golf course at Wolcott, CO
FrankKeller > I was fortunate to capture a tri-fecta in Whittier, Alaska. The train, cruise ship and a very rare clear day. Whittier only averages about 30 days of sunshine a year.
FrankKeller > Sunset at Del Mar.
FrankKeller > A spring snow storm blanketed the Pikes Peak region yesterday. So I thought a drive along Rampart Range Road through the Pike National Forest today might yield a shot or two. The snow was heavy and wet but the wind was plenty strong to blow it from tree to tree.
FrankKeller > An Alaska Railroad passenger train is near Girdwood, AK as they roll north towards Anchorage.
FrankKeller > Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs has fantastic views, throw in a thunder storm and things get real interesting. Sharp eyed viewers will spot a climber on one of the formations.
FrankKeller > A Rio Grande train disects a local farm near Springdale, UT
FrankKeller > Pikes Peak snow capped from a recent spring storm can be seen from just about anywhere in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
FrankKeller > The St Paul skyline on a cold and dreary night. The white building on the right is the Minnesota state capital building. Taken from Indian Mounds Park.
FrankKeller > The moon sets over the front range of the Rockies
FrankKeller > Colorado's Cumbres Pass on a beautiful day.
